On 8 March 2026, in the final week of Ramadan, the i2 Energy team made several stops to deliver pre-loved clothing and essential food supplies to three care homes ahead of Hari Raya.
The homes visited were Rumah Bakti Nur Syaheera, Rumah Bakti Nur Ain in Bangi, and Rumah Bakti Al-Kausar, all in the Bangi and wider Selangor area. The team delivered everything in person rather than by courier.
The contributions were chosen around what a household actually runs out of: rice, cooking oil and eggs, pantry items such as instant noodles, soy sauce and cordials, and cooking ingredients to carry the homes through the festive season.
Ramadan is a month built around care and generosity, and the timing was deliberate. Supporting the communities around the group's operations is part of how Protasco works, not something that sits apart from the projects.
