On 25 October 2025, the i2 Energy team spent a day with the children of Rumah Bakti Nur Ain in Bangi, Selangor. They shared lunch, handed out duit raya, donated daily essentials for the home, and built DIY solar toy cars together.
The solar cars turned the visit into something more than a donation drop. The children assembled them, carried them outside, and watched them run on nothing but sunlight. An abstract idea became a toy they could hold, which is a far better teacher than an explanation.
The day also covered practical ground: lunch and conversation with the children and their caretakers, duit raya, and a delivery of everyday essentials for the home.
Sustainability at Protasco is a matter of people as much as technology. Giving children a first hands-on experience of solar power is part of building what comes next, not a side note to it.
The team thanks the caretakers of Rumah Bakti Nur Ain for the welcome. The home is one i2 Energy has supported before, including during its Ramadan donation drive, and this visit built on that relationship.
